Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Garment Technician to support the design, product, and production teams, ensuring quality standards and size specifications are met throughout the development and production process. This role involves active engagement in technical product development, quality control, and production while adhering to critical timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate translation of design concepts into production-ready garments.
  • Develop garment measurement specifications and oversee sample evaluations.
  • Organise and attend fit sessions, providing technical expertise.
  • Problem-solve potential production issues and ensure consistent size standards and fit.
  • Communicate with suppliers to address construction and quality adjustments.
  • Maintain in-house brand standard measurements, grades, and quality databases.
  • Work closely with the product manager, design team, and China office to facilitate a seamless workflow from design handover to bulk approval.
  • Support the maintenance of a collaborative and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in fast fashion or womenswear.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and the production process.
  • Proficient in Excel, Illustrator, and Google Sheets/Docs.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Degree or certification in technical design, pattern making, fashion, or a related field (Desirable)
