They are committed to providing high-quality service and are seeking a talented full time Practice Manager to ensure the continued success of their operations.

THE ROLE

As the Senior Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations in a dual role, partly on the front reception, in addition to ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice as overall Practice Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a part-time Receptionist and handling front desk services, including patient welcome, billing, and query resolution.
  • Administering practice management software and maintaining patient information systems.
  • Ensuring the proper maintenance of office equipment and supplies, and managing security and facility services.
  • Overseeing financial activities, including invoice approvals and reporting.
  • Building positive relationships with doctors and managing their schedules and room allocations.
  • Supporting patient care and managing staff performance and training.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrator, Office Manager or as a Practice Manager.
  • Candidates with Receptionist, Administration or Office Manager experience outside of medical also STRONGLY CONSIDERED
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and medical software.
  • Certificate IV in Practice Management, Frontline Management, Business Administration, or similar qualifications preferred but not essential.

SALARY

$65,000 - $75,000 base, plus superannuation.
